Now, most marketers recognize <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elexoft.com\/digital-marketing\">ASO in Pakistan<\/a> as an indispensable element of the application promotion strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In many ways, App store optimization (ASO) resembles SEO (Search Engine Optimization), which has existed for several decades and consists in selecting the right metadata and assets (icon, screenshots) in order to be higher in the search by keywords, and those who visit the application page users downloaded the application and became its users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WHAT IS ASO?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The following resources are currently being used in ASO:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Application name (keywords included in it)<\/li><li>Keywords (as a field is available only in the\nApp Store, but for Google Play, anyway, you\u2019d better have a semantic core that\ndescribes the functionality of your application, and build a description based\non it)<\/li><li>Subtitle (only available on the App Store)<\/li><li>Application description (indexed for direct\nsearch only on Google Play, however, of course, affects users of any store)<\/li><li>Promotional text (available only on the App\nStore)<\/li><li>In-App Purchases<\/li><li>Developer Name (only works on Google Play)<\/li><li>Icon<\/li><li>Screenshots (separate for smartphones and\ntablets)<\/li><li>Video<\/li><li>Average rating and reviews<\/li><li>Application size (indirectly affects the\ndecision to download, since in iOS through the cellular network you can only\ndownload applications up to 150 MB, on Google Play &#8211; up to 100 MB)<\/li><li>Updates and \u201cWhat&#8217;s New\u201d<\/li><li>Localization<\/li><li>Web links for the application (as an SEO\nelement)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Audit<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;First of all, we\nstudy the application itself, its category and competitors. Then we analyze the\nsemantic core and the visual component of the application page. An audit\nprovides an understanding of the main areas of work. Based on it, we draw up an\napplication page optimization plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Localization<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;New markets = new\nsources of application users. To go to other countries, you must also localize\nthe application page. Localization is not just a translation, it is an\nadaptation of graphic elements and compilation of texts to optimize the search\nresults of each locale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">THE ORIGINS OF ASO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With increasing competition in the application market, the\nability to find the right target audience for your application, present your\napplication so that the user wants to download it and become a user has become\nmore and more important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the most part, users will learn about new applications\nfrom the App Store and Google Play search, from tops and features, which means\nthat you need to be in first places wherever possible. So there was App Store\nOptimization &#8211; various ways to improve the position of the application in the\nsearch results for the desired request, maximize the conversion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rules on which ASO is based are quite simple &#8211; if you\nare not in the first three places in the issuance for the requests you need,\nthen you are invisible.
